Pop Artifact Earrings:
This artsy pair of dangle earrings is from my pop artifact collection of wearable ceramic art. Made of white porcelain, images are created by pressing a printing plate into the wet clay, then trimmed to the final shape. The image is hand glazed onto the raised and recessed surface of the clay. Each pair of earrings are fired to 2200 °F to create a strong vitrified ceramic earring. After firing, the earring wire and ring is attached. No two clay pieces are exactly alike.
